New managing director at Mobilex A/S

Tommy Nielsen is the new managing director (MD) of Mobilex A/S in Denmark, onboarding beginning of January 2025. Tommy replaces the current MD Thomas Nygaard Christensen, who will take some well-deserved time off after eight years of growing Mobilex A/S with three different ownerships

“After eight fantastic years at Mobilex A/S I have decided it’s time to pursue new challenges. We have established a very strong position on the European market for aids and mobility devices with a network of more than 2.500 active Mobilex dealers. It has been a true pleasure scaling up our product portfolio and this extensive dealer network for the past eight years in close cooperation with three different owners, our long-time suppliers and not least our very skillful and always service minded employees. I am confident that we at Mobilex have laid a strong foundation for further growth and look forward to welcoming Tommy to the business. Furthermore, I’m confident that Tommy will take the company forward with new ideas, energy and a strong commitment to our known values so our important commitment to our customers remains unchanged”, says current MD Thomas Nygaard Christensen. Thomas will stay on until the end of February 2025 to support a smooth transition.

Experienced new managing director

Tommy is an experienced leader who has held several international positions, most recently at the wholesale company Toprent where he served as both sales director and managing director. Prior to his employment at Toprent, he was responsible for sales and customer service at TDC/Yousee and has also held several positions with responsibility for international cooperation, particularly in Germany. In terms of education, Tommy has a background in International Sales, which was later supplemented with an MBA from Henley Business School and CBS Executive Education.
